Cam350 Ipc356

This is just a text file converted over from an HTML doc on how to generate an IPC-D-356 netlist in CAM350.

This has got me started but by all means we can add to it.

NOTE: All SMT pads need to be "flashed". In PADS CAM under device
setup selecet "regenerate" . You can also do this in CAM350 by
selecting Utilities\Draws>\Flash\Automatic
1. Load PADS database into CAM350
* Tools\CAM350
2. Export IPC-D-356 netlist.
* File Export\Netlist\IPC-D-356
3. Open a new file in CAM350.
* File\New (You do not have to save anything since netlist has already been created)
4. Load your gerber files into CAM350
* File Import\Gerber Data (Make sure format is R274-X, should have carried over from PADS)
* Double click on Layer # 1 button then select your gerber files.
* Under Layer type change each layer to what it is.
* Select OK
5. The Origin needs to be the same as it is in PADS.
* Edit\Change\Origin\Space Origin.
6. Align Layers: NOTE: I really recommend that you make sure layers are aligned coming form PADS.
If you do need to align them in CAM350 here's how...
* Edit\Layers\Align
7. Extract Netlist:
* Utilities\Netlist Extract (Default should be OK)
8. Import IPC-D-356 netlist.
* File Import\Netlist\IPC-D-356
