I'm trying to generate a footprint for an Infineon BTS441R profet, using your calculator. T2 isn't shown on the datasheet, but I found a landpattern from Infineon.
They recommend larger pads than your calculator, so i was thinking about keeping the pad sizes from the calc., but i'm a little uncertain about the spacing between the small pads and the large one.
What spacing would you recommend. The total lenght of the component is 15mm?

Henrik,

I would use the Calcualtor dimensions for the "Signal Pins" and use their recommended Thermal Pad size height. Just put in a number in the T2 column until the Y2 Pad Size = 9.4mm (try 9.2). Just make sure that you use the MAX Lead Length & Width for the signal pins.

That's what I do when the component manufacturer does not provide the exact T2 dimension - I use their recommended Y2 dimension.

Thanks Tom. I concluded the same thing :)
