Blaze time and dual processor

Hi All

I am just wondering how long blaze is taking to route with other people. It has been running on my current job for 40 hours (And Counting) on a 2 Ghz machine I Have patterns and route set to medium and that’s it. Spectra finished this board in 7 hour with 95% completion, Blaze completion looks like being about the same.
My Next question!
Ha Anyone tried running blaze on a dual processor

I heard that neither PowerPCB nor BlazeRouter have the capability of taking advantage of a "Dual CPU Processor" (Yet). So that would be a wasted investment.

In the BlazeRoute Class that we just took, one of the talking points for increasing BlazeRouter processing speed was two things. The faster the computer the better (they are currently shipping 3 GHz machines) and the more memory the better. 1 Gig is OK 2 Gig would be better.

The amount of RAM is more important than the CPU speed because once the RAM is full, it starts to page to the hard disk and it's the paging process that takes time.
